Glenn Creek Nature Preserve is a two-acre parcel of sensitive watershed within the City of Decatur.
Volunteers learn about native species of the Georgia Piedmont, forest and stream bank restoration, adopt -stream program, and greenspace management. The preserve is open to the public.

Completed new "upperline trail" with 2009 volunteer projects. Thank you Mr. Billingley's Freshman Close Up Volunteers! In recongnition of their hardwork, the nature preserve is donating $100 to the Close Up fund, which helps pay for students to go to the capital.
One of Mr. Billingsley students found a quartz arrowhead about 3 inches long in the Nature Preserve. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!
During a big rain on 9/20/2009 an otter was spotted in the Glenn Creek near the nature preserve.
Nick Richwagon has completed his Eagle Scout Project with two new signs about native and invasive plants and identifiying 30 different plants throughout the Nature Preserve.
