Curious to see if the the DeKalb Tree Protection Oridinace has made a difference. You make the call. Below are unofficial statistics kept by county arborist Tom Claiborne. The new DeKalb Tree Protection Oridinance was passed in February of 1999. It was amended for the last time in Octobor 1999. In 1999 more than 100 hardships were filed and were exempted from the Tree Protection Oridinance.
